The 10.5-ounce design is constructed with 40% cotton, 35% modacrylic, 15% viscose, 8% aramid, and 2% anti-static FR fleece. 

This impressive blend of materials meets the performance requirements of NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506, and the FR zip front garment is UL classified to NFPA 2112. There are Carhartt FR and NFPA 2112/CAT 3 labels sewn right onto the left pocket, proudly displaying these qualifications. This is not your average men’s work hoodie!

The flame-resistant fleece, in addition to wicking away sweat and odors, also works hard to keep you warm all day. An attached three-piece hood features an adjustable FR drawcord closure to let you find a secure, comfortable fit. The rib-knit cuffs and rib-knit waist make sure the fit stays in place while allowing for flexibility, and the Vislon front zip with Nomex FR tape blocks out cold air. For extra warmth, there are two front handwarmer pockets with an inner media pocket as well.
